Meet The Doctor

Dr Wietholder received his bachelor’s degree from Quincy University, then enlisted in the U.S. Army. While serving in the Army, Dr. Wietholder obtained his master’s degree. Shortly thereafter, he attended dental school at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, graduating Cum Laude in 2011. Dr. Wietholder then completed a one-year residency in general dentistry with the Army at Ft Campbell, Kentucky. He deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan and completed his active duty service in 2016 after 10 years. He continues to serve in the U.S. Army Reserves. During his dental training, Dr Wietholder received additional education in dental implants, orthodontics, wisdom teeth extractions, and dental sleep medicine to treat obstructive sleep apnea. Dr Wietholder prides himself on providing high quality, comprehensive dental care for your entire family. When he’s not at the office, he enjoys golfing and hunting, and spending time with his family.
